Bid Configuration record provides changes to various system behaviors throughout the Bidding process. Bid Administrator Role is needed to access this record, and a Super User or Admin user type is needed to access the Advanced Tab (or contact Support/Services team)

| Bypass Intent To Bid | General | If checked, Bid Responders will not be required to indicate 'Intent to Bid' to respond to the bid. |
| Days Before Expiration | General | Will send a reminder email notification to Bid Responders 'n' number of days prior to Bid Expiration Date. |
| Intent To Bid Expiration | General | Will send a reminder email notification to Bid Responders 'n' number of days before Intent to Bid Expiration Date. |
| Notify Project Manager | General | If checked, the users assigned as Project Manager role on the bid will receive notifications when a new question is asked or when a response is issued for a question. |
| Notify Architect | General | If checked, the users assigned as Architect role on the bid will receive notifications when a new question is asked or when a response is issued for a question. |
| Notify Design Manager | General | If checked, the users assigned as Design Manager role on the bid will receive notifications when a new question is asked or when a response is issued for a question. |

| Send Bid Response Files to Core? | Advanced | If checked, it will send Documents attached to the Bid Response Requirements to Core (for Open Bids) |
| Include Area On Export | Advanced | If checked, Project area units will be included on bid comparison export. |
| Show Bid History | Advanced | If checked, the 'Response History' subtab will be visible on the Bid Comparison tab. |
| Comparison Template | Advanced | Select the file containing Excel Template to be utilized for the Bid Comparison export. |
| PO Type Remote | Advanced | If populated, Edge will send specified PO Type along with the PO submission to Core. |
| PO Status | Advanced | If populated, Edge will send specified PO Type along with the PO submission to Core. |
| Auto Import | Advanced | If checked, cost items will be automatically imported from Core when the project is selected on the Bid. |
| Cost Item Filter (only displayed if Auto Import checked) | Advanced | If checked, the cost item auto import process will filter on specific items that match the criteria specified. |
| UOM From Core | Advanced | If checked cost item UOM will be included on the cost items imported from Core. |
| Restrict $0 Total Amount in Bid Response Cost Items | Advanced | If checked, the Bid Responder will not be able to Submit the Response unless the total amount for all Cost Items is greater than $0. |
| Show Taxable | Advanced | Check this to enable the Taxable field on the Bid Comparison (Tenant customization is also needed to show field on the other Cost Item report sections) |
| Description Filter (only displayed if Cost Item Filter checked) | Advanced | If the description filters query section is empty, this field can be used as the default filter for the cost item auto import; this field can accept comma separated string values or !=NULL to return all cost items with not null descriptions. |
| Description Filters (Report section, only displayed if Cost Item Filter checked) | Advanced | If one or more descriptions filters exists in the description filters section, the cost item auto import will match the bid type selected in the Bid record to the description filter with matching bid type and will apply the filters specified in the matching description filter. |
