Bid Management Configuration Options and Updates

Bidding

A new configuration option is available for Bidding clients who want to change the level of access the Bid Manager role has. The Tango Edge application can now limit the Bid reports to only provide access to Bid records to which the user is assigned.

In addition to this, the Bid Administration Role has been given access to the All Bids report with the ability to open a read only view of Bid records.

Bid Manager Access

A new set of reports is now available in the product and can be configured for clients who want to limit the data Bid Manager users can access within the application. These new reports are specifically filtered to only return Bid data where the current user is assigned as the Bid Manager or Project Manager role.

All 7 Tile reports and the “Active Bids” report displayed on the right half of the home page screen can now be configured with filtered reports.

Note: For clients who configure this option be aware that a Bid Manager can create a Bid, assign it to another Bid Manager user, and then no longer have access to view that Bid.

Bid Administrator Menu

All Bids report is now available in the Bid Administrator user menu.
This is not a configuration and is available for all Bid Administrator users (although it can be configured to be hidden if requested).
