Bid Response History For Open Bids

Bid Response History was previously only captured for Closed Bid format. When the “Show History – Closed Bid” option is enabled on the Bid Configuration, Bid Response history records would be created when/if the Bid was Reopened.

Now we have introduced an option to also capture Bid Response History for Open Bid format. When the “Show History - Open Bid” option is enabled on the Bid Configuration, Bid Response history records are created as soon as the Vendor submits their Responses (or Resubmits).

Bid Manager > Comparison Tab

1. Updated Bid History functionality for Bid Format = "Open."

  • Bid Response History can now be captured every time the Bid Response is submitted by the vendor for Open Bid Format.

2. On Bid Reopen, the logic has been updated to copy the bid response when bid format is 'Closed Bid' AND Bid Configuration 'Show History - Closed Bid' is checked.

  • Note: Bid Response history record NOT created on Reopen action for Open Bids (Legacy behavior for Closed Bids only now).

3. On Bid Response Submission - if the bid response has bid format of 'Open Bid' AND Bid Configuration 'Show History - Open Bid' is checked, it then creates a history snapshot of the bid response upon submission.
