Introduction
A key component of Tango Projects, Bidding, allows external users to self-register and indicate their intent to bid as well as submit their bid electronically. While many enhancements have been incorporated in the Bid portal, below we are highlighting a few recent additions.
Update Bid Response Warning Message
The addition of a warning pop-up message upon selecting the ‘Update Bid Response’ command button for the bid responder.
Cost Comments Displayed on Bid Comparison
The Cost Comments are now displayed on the Comparison tab in the Submitted Bid Responses section.
Synchronization of Unit-of-Measure (UOM)
The UOM is now synchronized between the Tango Projects core application and the Tango Bidding portal.
This change applies to the:
- Cost Items report section.
- As well as Cost Line Items.
UOM will default based on the value setup in Tango Projects. If no UOM has been setup or Bidding has not been configured to default UOM from Core, "Each" will be defaulted.
Lastly, UOM has also been added to Alternate Cost Items so a bidder indicate the appropriate value.
