Introduction
Tango Visual Query has been enhanced to optimize the user experience and make customization and sharing of queries easier. Upon launching Visual Query, you will now have easy access to executing saved queries, share it internally with other system users and the creation of a new query is only a single click away. As usual, access to previously saved and shared queries will be available without disruption.
Comparison Between Previous Version and Latest Version of Visual Query
1. Landing Page
The initial difference that you will see between both versions is the difference in the landing page once the Visual Query icon is selected from the Reporting section of the Tango Dashboard. The previous version directly displays the query builder page to the users, whereas the latest version allows you to view the saved queries in the Users tab, queries that are made public in the Public tab, and when you share the query with specific users, it gets displayed in the Shared tab. This layout makes it easier to execute saved queries quicker. Select the + icon from the new version to create new queries that land on the query builder page.

2. View Queries
In the previous version of the Visual Query, you must select the Submit command button once the fields are selected to view the query and again select the Edit command button to update the query. In the latest version, the user experience is improved where you can view the query as you work through the fields. Just a single click of the Display Query command button displays the query below the fields and eliminates the added steps to move back-and-forth to make changes to the query as it was previously.
