Release Notes - February 14, 2025

Overview

The following sections describe what is new or improved in this software release. This document lists what’s new or improved with the February 14, 2025 Tango release, which was included in Core Release 3.7.40, Edge Application Release A10.7.12, and Edge Platform Release P3.9.10.1.

Predictive Analytics

Transactions

Active Transactions - Updated Active Transactions tile icon to separate city and state into separate columns to facilitate better filtering and sorting. [TAC-2524]

Transaction Number - Added a customer-definable Transactions Number field to allow a non-system assigned number to be defined for each transaction. [TAC-3228]

Projects

Projects Budget - Added remaining budget columns to the multi-currency view table, both for Global and Business Unit currency exchange rates. [TAC-2910]

Project Purchase Orders - Added an optional feature which allows a user to link an SLA record to a Purchase Order. Linking the SLA can display rate details from the SLA on the Purchase Order screen. [TAC-2587]

SLA - Added a tab to display details of purchase orders linked to a given SLA contract. [TAC-3034]

Vendor Invoicing - Invoice Type defaults to "Regular" instead of blank. [EA-408]

Work Place Mobile - Added the Suppliers functionality to the mobile application. Including the Icon and supplier search functionality. [TAC-2972]

Lease

Lease Contacts Report - Enhanced report with the addition of the link category added to the report layout and has a runtime parameter. [TAC-3176]

Terminate Workflow (Rent Batches) - Added a Terminate Workflow menu option to Batch Rent through the addition of a new security role. This functionality allows customers to self-service halting a workflow that has already been sent for approval. [TAC-3217]

Maintenance

Facility Manager Assignment Utility - Various cleanup/usability items. [EA-134]

Scheduled Maintenance - New Tile/Report added: Plans per Location. Allows the Facility Managers to view SM Plans and the associated Location data side by side. [EA-353]

Scheduled Maintenance - “Provider” Name and Email fields added at the Scheduled Maintenance Plan level (previously this was added to the SM Locations, used when assigning Providers per Location). When the Vendor or Internal Maintenance Lead is selected on the SM Plan, the Provider fields are also populated.

Note: Existing SM Plans will have the Provider fields populated retroactively and reports will be updated in the future to use the Provider field instead of having the Vendor and Maintenance Lead Name and Email fields listed separately. [EA-424]

Work Order Invoicing - All Work Orders will now be created with a Default Invoice. For “External Vendor” Demand Maintenance Work Orders, the default Invoice record will be displayed in an embedded section on the Invoice tab/step of the Work Order screen labeled “Work Order Invoice” instead of in the “Invoices” report section.

This will make the Invoice data easily available directly on the Invoice step without the need to scroll down and pop up the record from the report section.

The “Invoices” report section will be relabeled to "Other Invoices" and will allow for additional Invoices added to the Work Order, if needed.

Similar changes will be available for Scheduled Maintenance and Internal Maintenance in a future release.

Note: For legacy data, the embedded “Work Order Invoice” section will be hidden and any Invoices will be displayed in the “Other Invoices” Section.

Work Order Invoicing - Invoice Comment field will be defaulted from the Describe Work Complete field on the Work Order. This can be modified by the users prior to Submitting the Invoice to the Core Project. [EA-352]

Space

Buildings - Added new columns for Status, Employee Type and Area Number to the Building’s People tab. [TAC-2460]

Buildings - Made the Asset Instance Number and Asset Instance Name a hyperlink to the Asset Detail page on the Building Asset screen. [TAC-3093]

Space Management - Added a new Space Request form for both space managers and general users. Please see the tech note: Space Request Form [TAC-2798]

Space Management - Change the Under-Utilized Buildings, Over-Utilized Buildings, and Portfolio Occupancy Details to use the building CAD rentable SF instead of the building lease rentable SF. [TAC-3094]

Reserve

Accessible Interface - Available Room Configurations can be selected when a reservation is created. [AQCORE-1070]

Accessible Interface - The Reservation Type dropdown menu is displayed in reservations for users who have the right to select reservation type with color coding. [AQCORE-1089]

Accessible Interface - Improved navigation in availability search widget when required fields are blank. [AQCORE-1315]

Accessible Interface - Removed extraneous text read by screen reader within the availability search widget. [AQCORE-1346]

Analytics - Added a new Asset Status Changelog widget to report status changes to assets. The list of assets has a separate row for each status change, with timestamps for the effective and expiration date of each change. [AQAN-330]

Occupancy

Energy & Sustainability

Users now have the ability to replicate account-level settings from the previous reporting year to the current reporting year by checking the new “Roll Over Settings from Previous Year” checkbox within the “GRESB Default Values Settings” configuration in the “Settings” section. Rollover help text is also available on this field for more information. [WATX-746]

Allocate unbundled RECs to accurately incorporate into carbon accounting scope 2 MB emissions calculations.

Impact: Clients purchase both bundled and unbundled RECs. The improvement is necessary for accurately accounting for emissions, especially the unbundled RECs, which are currently unclear in how they're allocated to emissions calculations.

Updated Behavior:

• Unbundled RECs need to be tracked and allocated to specific accounts accurately, similar to how bundled RECs are handled.
• The goal is to allocate RECs to specific electric accounts to ensure that the right amount of MWh is considered renewable (zero emissions) and the remainder is non-renewable (subject to scope 2 MB residual emissions factor).
• The process for unbundled RECs involves:
  
  • Updating the tracking system to allow allocation to accounts based on properties selected.
    
  • A wizard interface to allocate the correct number of RECs to each electric account.
    
  • Once allocated, the carbon accounting logic must be updated to factor in both bundled and unbundled RECs in emissions calculations.
    
  • For example, if 100 MWh of unbundled RECs are allocated to an account, that portion would be considered renewable (zero emissions), reducing the scope 2 emissions for that account. [WATX-987]

Invoice Management - Additional details available on Documents. On the Asset level → Documents Tab, two new columns were added for “Uploaded By” and “Created Date.” [WATX-969]

Administrative Tools - Added administration icons to manage Batch Approvers and Tax Rates for Tango Lease. [TAC-2900]

Bulk Update - Added distinct security role to allow access to Bulk Update without granting access to Mapping. [TAC-3216]

Data Import - Added support for lease receivables data conversion in the Data Import tool. [TAC-3154]

Internal Contacts - Added a multi-select option to support deletion of multiple entity contacts through a single operation. [TAC-3222]

Targets - Added restricted access (and restricted read only) to Target entity. [TAC-2889]

User Role Reconciliation API - Added last updated date and person as well as location and title to API. [TAC-2686]

Vendor Inbound (Flat File & API) - Added support through the use of a "~" character to skip field and leave existing data in place. [TAC-2920]

Visual Query - Added distinct security role to allow access to Visual Query without granting access to Mapping. [TAC-3216]

Workplace (Mobile) - Added Deal Analysis and Site Status tabs to mobile app. [TAC-2931]
