Release Notes - August 8, 2025

Overview

This document describes what’s new or improved with the August 8, 2025 Tango release, which was included in Core Release 3.7.46, Edge Application Release A10.8.4, and Edge Platform Release P3.10.4.

Projects

Project Bidding - Updated the My Pending RFIs report to exclude Closed or Awarded Bids. Though it is not likely that a bid is closed or awarded with open an RFI it can happen and in that scenario the closed bid would be stick in this report. [EA-629]

Lease

GL Export (Standard Integration) - Enhanced standard GL integration to mark all prior periods through an error-correcting JE to be indicated as REPORTED. [TAC-3904]

GL Integration - Added Accounting Treatment (account_classification) and Currency (currency) to API integration. [TAC-4255]

G/L Standard API - Added new lease_name data tag to integration payload. [TAC-4372]

Lease Accounting - Added ability to track interest calculations to be In Advance or In Arrears at an accounting schedule level. Previously, this setting was controlled at the customer level. No impact to existing behavior/accounting calculations. [TAC-4272]

Maintenance

Scheduled Maintenance - A Draft SM Plan can now be Deleted. Delete action/button added to the General Tab (Step 1). [EA-661]

Work Order Invoicing - All Work Orders are created with a Default Invoice. For Internal Maintenance Work Orders, the default Invoice record will be displayed in an embedded section on the Invoice tab/step of the Work Order screen instead of in the Invoices report section.

• This will make the Invoice data available directly on the Invoice step without the need to pop up the record from the report section.
  
• The Invoices Report will be updated to "Other Invoices" and will allow for additional Invoices added to the Work Order, as needed.
  
• Similar changes were previously made available for External Demand Maintenance. [EA-448]

Work Order Invoicing - All Work Orders are created with a Default Invoice. For Scheduled Maintenance Work Orders, the default Invoice record will be displayed in an embedded section on the Invoice tab/step of the Work Order screen instead of in the Invoices report section.

Work Order Notifications - Cancellation Notifications are now also sent to the service provider on the Work Order (Vendor, Maintenance Lead, Technician). Previously this was only sent to the Facility Manager assigned to the Work Order. [EA-619]

Space

Space Management - Enhanced Space Requests by adding Space Category to the Location screen. [TAC-4241]

Space Management - Enhanced Property classic search by adding the Property Type as a configurable field to see in the results. [TAC-3920]

Reserve

Web Application - Added 2 optional properties to give clients better control of GDPR compliance for active users within reservations and visits. This enables the reservation creator and reservation owner for active users to be changed to "Anonymous User" after the specified number of days have elapsed since the reservation end.  When a user becomes archived, Reserve has always changed the reservation creator and owner to “Deleted User.” Only reservations in a final state and visits in the past will be affected. Once enabled, the system will anonymize reservations and visits on a daily basis, regardless of the user’s identity, and the anonymization cannot be undone. Organizations must submit a ticket for Tango staff to enable anonymization. When the anonymize.reservation.data property is true and the number of days specified in the data.retention.period.before.anonymization property have elapsed, then the reservation owner and reservation creator for all reservations in a final state are changed to “Anonymous User,” and the hosts for visits ending the specified number of days in the past are changed to “Anonymous User.” [AQCORE-1425]

Occupancy

Added support for batch user submissions via admin API, aligning with the Person v1 schema and updating device-to-user mappings based on the latest received data, with conflict handling for existing identities. [OCCDEV-10862]

Implemented Kafka consumer for person events, forwarding updates to Occupancy to maintain accurate user-to-device mappings. [OCCDEV-10861]

Occupancy data is now consumable by Core via the ETL pipeline and data warehouse. [OCCDEV-10836]

Public API: building information endpoint result is enriched with building status (live, decommissioned, unhealthy, in rollout) [OCCDEV-10544]

Energy & Sustainability

Within the Tango E&S platform, users have the ability to (optionally) add an associated meter number to the account number.  The bulk import template has been updated to also add this optional functionality. [WATX-1441]

In the “Sentence Filter” report, when “Rolled Up by Property = No”, the client specific account characteristics dynamically populate the report.  Historically, when “Rolled Up by Property = Yes”, only the property name and address information would populate.  Now, the client specific asset level characteristics will dynamically populate the report. [WATX-1824]

The Sentence Filter report now includes the account level Address 1 and Address 2 fields.  Historically, the address reflected was associated with the asset (not the specific account), so this update provides more specific account level details. [WATX-1663]

Refuse (Waste) and Recycling accounts now default to Scope 3 Category: Waste Generated in Operations. [WATX-1879]

There is now a new integration option with Redaptive to pull meter data at the meter level (in addition to the existing Site level and Circuit level). [WATX-1950]

Datamart

Added new columns: D_EXT_ATTR1, D_EXT_ATTR2 to the table DM_LEASE_PAYMENT_INVOICES [TAC-4338]

Added new columns: UNIT_TYPE, TENANCY_TYPE_LOC, RENT_COMMENCEMENT_DATE_LOC to the tables DM_UNITS [TAC-4359]

Platform

Buildings - Added Relocation Building Number to buildings to allow the association between a building and its associated relocation. [TAC-3883]

Standard Integration - Created a new API endpoint to allow querying previously called GU_IDs from a single endpoint. [TAC-4203]

Targets - Add Comments tab within targets. [TAC-3923]
