Workaround for Dynamic Rooms in M365 Exchange (Events)

If your organization is utilizing connecting rooms that are also synced with the M365 Exchange Connector, all rooms included can be booked as Events when a larger space is needed for meetings. The Reserve Dynamic Room logic cannot be used for these connecting rooms. Instead, each room will be stand alone and you can book them together should you need the larger combined room. This workflow will work both from reservations initiated in Outlook as well as from Reserve and will reflect on either side to prevent double bookings or conflicts.

Booking From Reserve:

1. Be sure to select 'Event' when booking the dynamic rooms.
2. Select all rooms included and enter the required fields.
3. Submit the Reservation.
4. Now all rooms needed are booked as an event and will reflect as such on your Outlook calendar.

Booking From Outlook:

1. Create an appointment from your calendar.
2. Select all rooms included into the locations field and invite all necessary parties.
3. Send Invite.
4. Now all rooms needed are booked as an event and will show as such on both your Outlook calendar and Reserve.
