Overview

To continue providing industry-leading functionality, Tango would like to bring your attention to an enhancement in Space Management. This applies to all Tango Space customers. This functionality will be available on February 17, 2025.

Summary of Changes

To better facilitate the communication between the business and the workplace team, we have introduced a new Space Request Form. The new request can be used for a wide set of requests such as questions, drawing requests, etc. as well as requesting changes to spaces.

The Space Request can be accessed under the Navigation tab for space managers and under the General tab for all other users.

Space Managers will see all the requests, while General Users will only see the requests for themselves.

The Space Request form has a header section and a location section. Space Request - Form.png Drop down values for the Space Request Type, Space Request Status and Justification are configurable to meet your organization's processes.

Like the MAC form, Space Request has the ability to assign the request and create internal and external comments. General users will only see the external comments. Routing of Space Requests and email notifications are planned for a future release.

The Location section allows users to give details about their request.

To give our clients the most flexibility for the Space Request, no fields are required in either the header or the location at this time.

Next Steps / Action Required

The Space Request form will not be rolled out automatically to all Tango Space customers. Kindly submit a ticket with Tango Support Services through Zendesk to request this functionality enabled.
