Error: Number of instances in the Reservation exceeds the maximum number of instances allowed in a single transaction

What does this error mean?

Tango Reserve has a limit of 300 instances allowed in a single transaction. An instance can be a room reservation (parent reservation) and any associated child assets on the same reservation. Each occurrence of a reservation is counted as an instance, multiplied by how many days of occurrences and add on any child assets that are included to a reservation.

Example:

• A single day reservation for one room = 1 instance
• A single day reservation for one room + one equipment = 2 instances
• A recurring reservation for one room, every day for 2 weeks including weekends = 14 instances
• A recurring reservation for one room, every day for 2 weeks including weekends, plus an equipment = 24 instances
• A recurring reservation for one room, every day for one year including weekends = 365 instances (this will cause a failure)
