Tango Space - Batch Printing Floor Plans

Modified on Tue, 3 Mar at 1:04 AM

Overview

The Batch Printing Floor Plans feature gives you the ability to batch print drawings by selecting multiple floors across any region, country, or building (not limited by building).  The system will create PDF files for all the floors and return a zip file of the PDFs to the user.

The feature must be turned on by support and can be found under the Building’s Tasks tab.

Clicking on the Batch Print Floor Plans icon will launch a wizard that walks you through the process of creating a batch print.

You can choose a name and optional description for the batch print, then choose a naming convention for the PDFs using the following options:

  • Property Name-Building Name-Floor Name-Layer Set-Date
  • Building Name-Floor Name-Layer Set-Date
  • Building ID-Floor Name-Layer Set-Date

Each floor and layer set combination will generate a separate PDF file with the selected naming convention.

You can choose from one to multiple predefined layer sets.  Layer Sets are created and defined in the Floor Plan and contain which Visualizers are turned on and which Data and Standard Layers are turned on.  It is best practice to create different layer sets for different Visualizers you want to use in Batch Printing.

You can then choose which floors you want to be part of the batch print.  You can choose any floor to print across the portfolio of buildings.  The standard search filters are provided to make the selection easier.  You can also choose floors from different scenarios, but the selection will always default to the current.

Next,  you can choose different print options.

After choosing the print options, the system will display a summary screen similar to the following example:

The batch print is generated and stored in the Download Manager tab for Reports.

When downloaded, the batch print contains a ZIP file of the printed PDFs.
