Supplier Site - Regions/Markets

Introduction

Tango Maintenance now makes it easier than ever to find and select the correct vendors into a Service Request. Facility Managers can now filter the Vendor List on the Service Request by the Market of the Location on the Service Request.

To help make this new filter functionality even more powerful, Supplier Sites can be associated to multiple Regions and Markets using a new table section on the screen.
Prior to this change, Supplier Sites had dropdown fields for the Region and Market which forced a one-to-one relationship, which would have required a separate Supplier Site per Market, but now clients can set up a single Supplier Site associated to any number of Markets.

Supplier Site Data/Setup

Supplier Site screen now has a Region Markets table section instead of the old dropdown fields.

Note: Any data previously saved in the dropdowns has been migrated into a single row in the new table section.

Additional Regions/Markets can be added to the table section to associate the Supplier Site to multiple Markets.

Note: Filtering for Regions/Markets in the "Add" popup supports the % wildcard (for example %CA% will return all Markets with "CA" in the name.)

Buildings/Locations

The Region and Market is associated to the Building/Location record using dropdown fields. The Building/Location has a 1 to 1 relationship with the Region/Market.

Service Request/Vendor Selection

Vendor Select step now has a checkbox to Filter by Market. When checked the section will filter the list of vendors to only show Supplier Sites that are associated to the same Region/Market as the Location in the Service Request.

The example above shows the list of Vendors filtered to only return records associated to the "Fuel Specialists" Trade as well as the same Market as the "Tango QA HQ" location.

Work Order Configuration

"Default Vendor Select Market Filter" option is available on the Work Order Configuration records. When this configuration option is checked the filter/checkbox will also be checked by default on the Service Request.
