Overview

The Leases application is used to manage contracts, typically real estate or non-real estate (equipment, assets, vehicles, etc.) lease agreements.

This article addresses the layout and navigation of the Leases application.

Layout

From the Functional Dashboard and Contract Management section, click the ‘Leases’ icon:

The Lease Landing page also known as the Lease Home page will appear. This page is comprised of two sections:
- My Actions – badge icons that initiate the functionality of the Lease Module. Note that the layout of the icons changes with screen zoom level.
- Search – list of leases which can be filtered by both lease status and input search criteria.

Navigation

Basic Search - Search for a specific Lease record by entering full or partial criteria in the search field and click the Search icon or use the Advanced filters to narrow the search. For example, in the search field, type the value “Dallas” to display all Active Leases within the city of Dallas.

Advanced Search – To search for a specific Lease record or group of records using mixed search criteria select the Advanced link to narrow the search. By clicking on the Add Fields button, a list of fields will display. Navigate to the field you wish to add to your search criteria, click on it and it will be added to the Search tree. Once you’ve defined and populated a few data points click the Search icon.

Note: the additional field names are displayed using the Oracle table field name; hence, refer to the legend provided in Appendix 1 to see the system configured labels as per Client’s specifications.

Select the dollar icon or the page icon on the right side of the search to open the financial or general details of a Lease. Alternatively, select the lease, then click on the Lease Financials or Lease Details buttons located at the top right corner of the Lease Home page.
