Overview
To continue providing industry-leading functionality, Tango would like to bring to your attention an enhancement to Person page, Area page and Floor Plan. This applies to all Tango Space customers. This functionality will be available on April 12, 2024.
Summary of Changes
To better support the planning and management of hybrid working, we have added the ability to track the Days in Office and the Total Days in Office a person is planning to work in the office.
On the Person record, we have added check boxes for the days of the week a person is scheduled to be in the office. Additionally, we have added the Total Days in Office, which is either calculated from the days of the week check boxes or can be entered by itself.
Currently the Days in Office is used in the Flex Area screen and as a visualizer on the floor plan. In future releases we will be using the Days in Office for Space Planning, Stacking and Utilization.
The Flexible Areas screen has been modified to show Occupancy by Days, using the Days in Office information for all the people assigned to the Flexible Area.
A new visualizer has been added to the floor plan to show the Days in Office for people directly assigned to spaces.
Next Steps / Action Required
This new feature will not be rolled out automatically to all Tango Space customers. Kindly submit a ticket with Tango Support Services through ZenDesk if you would like to request this functionality enabled.
