Release Notes - January 10, 2025

Overview

The following sections describe what is new or improved in this software release. This document lists what’s new or improved with the January 10, 2025, Tango release, which was included in Core Release 3.7.39, Edge Application Release A10.7.11, and Edge Platform Release P3.9.11.

Predictive Analytics

Prospects - Added Batch ID as an available field in Visual Query. [TAC-3097]

Seed Point Upload - Enhanced seed point upload for consistency with Prospects to import .CSV files. [TAC-3020]

Traffic Detail Report - Added entity information (name, address, etc.) to report output. [TAC-2998]

Projects

Bidding - Added Segment 1-4 fields into the Bid Cost Item and Bid Response Cost Item reports (Note: Segment 5 and 6 were already available). Configuration is needed to make them visible and set the desired Labels. [EA-260]

Project Dashboards - Added the ability to select the reporting currency for multi-currency clients. (Global vs. Local). [TAC-2868]

Project POs - Added the option for clients using the SLA Contract module to tie a contract to a project PO. [TAC-3035]

Sites Mobile - Added additional filter parameters to the Site search page for the Tango Workplace app. [TAC-2912]

Vendor Invoicing - A confirmation popup message was added when the Submit Invoice button was clicked. [EA-311]

Lease

Options (End of Term) - Enhanced End of Term creation process to provide a customer-configurable option for Days Notice field. [TAC-3148]

Standard Dashboard - Adding new Workflow tab to Lease Portfolio dashboards to provide insights around initiated, in process and completed workflows. [TAC-1836]

Maintenance

Scheduled Maintenance - The Facility Manager can now define the "Provider" (Vendor or Maintenance Lead) at the Location level on the SM Plan. This is in addition to the recent enhancement that allowed for assignment of the Facility Manager per Location. [EA-146]

Scheduled Maintenance - Locations File Export/Import now supports Facility Manager and Provider (External Vendor or Internal Maintenance Lead) at the Location level on the Scheduled Maintenance Plan. [EA-242]

Facility Manager Service Request/Work Order - NTE Override field added to SR and WO screens (editable in FM Override mode), allowing Facility Managers to enter an amount that will be used as the Not To Exceed for the specific Work Order. [EA-120]

Work Order Invoicing - Invoice Auto Approval will validate against the NTE Override value (if populated on the Work Order) instead of the NTE from the Matrix. [EA-121]

Work Order Invoicing - Comment field added to the Invoice Header in Edge (editable by the FM before Submitting the Invoice and during the manual Approval process). Any value entered into this field in Edge will be displayed on the Invoice in the Core Project. [EA-351]

Work Order Invoicing - Added Resolution Description to the FM Invoice screen once the Invoice is Submitted. Added Resolution Code and Description to the All Invoices and Completed Invoices FM Reports. [EA-324]

Work Order Invoicing - Streamlined the Facility Manager Manual Approval/Invoice Resolution process to eliminate the popup, allow for the definition of a default Resolution Code for all Invoices and also automatically populate the Invoice Resolution Description when the Resolution Code is selected. [EA-295]

Space

Property - Added Building Status dropdown to the Property's Building list and defaulted the dropdown to Active. [TAC-3107]

Space / Reserve Integration - Increased the size of the hotspot from Space to Reserve. Also added the ability to set the minimum and maximum hot spot size per floor plan in the floor plan settings. Please click here for more information. [TAC-2970]

Reserve

Web Application - Added a setting to prevent selected service accounts from logging in to the web applications. Only administrators have access to the “Disable UI Login” setting which is unchecked by default and can be found in Settings > Users > Business Rules. [AQCORE-1321]

Occupancy

Data validation for Advanced Portfolio Insights buildings - The data validation tool is now available for buildings running in the Advanced Portfolio Insights plan, replacing the manual pen-and-paper process. Simply fill in the form with the requested information and see the computed results directly in the Admin page. [OCCDEV-10264]

Floor decommissioning [OCCDEV-7964] - Floors that are no longer in use can now be set to a decommissioned state:

Event will be recorded in the building’s change log

From that point onwards, measurements will no longer be recorded

Historical data will still be available

The floor will be visible in Floors/Spaces, marked with a special flag

The floor will not be visible in Live

Energy & Sustainability

Clients have the ability to select whether to use the Renewable Energy % value OR the scope 2 MB emissions factor to calculate scope 2 MB emissions. If a scope 2 MB emissions factor provided by a utility or CCA already incorporate the Renewable Energy %, then you would be underreporting the scope 2 MB emissions (without the ability to make this distinction) [PORTAL-9859]

Previously the sentence filter was automatically filling in calendar months that were only partially covered by invoices. One issue with this approach was the assumption that there should be data estimated to fill the rest of the calendar month. There was no user decision to explicitly approve this estimation, which was a concern raised by auditors. A user can choose to accrue the data through a specific date in the future, but this logic would then get applied to every account chosen in the filter. In certain cases, this can cause problems in the property roll up values when the gaps were intentional. For example, if there was one account with actuals (e.g. from ESPM) and then another account that filled in the rest of the data with data from another source (e.g. bill pay provider) - the gap filling logic was causing months with duplicated data. Therefore, we updated this logic to NOT automatically accrue through the end of the calendar month by default. [PORTAL-10325]

The “User Activity” report now has more detail to support user auditing, both internally and for limited/reasonable assurance processes. [PORTAL-10343]

Datamart

Approval History - Added new columns to the table F_WF_APPROVAL_HISTORY in the DW: [TAC-1836]

Data Import - Added confirmation message and a clarification that the user will receive an email when the load of a data file is complete. [TAC-2911]

Proforma - Added ability to delete entries in the P&L Cannibalization tab. [TAC-3124]
