New Quick Pick view!
In the June 14, 2024 release we introduced a new Quick Pick view which loads in the task pane on the right when you open the Add-in. Quick Pick defaults to your home location, but you can search for meeting rooms across multiple locations at once, filter to meet your needs, view room information, and create a reservation all within Outlook's appointment window. The existing "Advanced" application that you're used to is just a click away if you need it.
Quick Pick is available to all clients using the Outlook Add-in.
In the appointment window, add attendees and then select Reserve.
If you have not specified your environment or you need to change it, you'll see the options below. Select US unless otherwise instructed by your organization. Then choose either SAML Login (SSO, where you) or Tango Reserve Login.
Once you've been authenticated, the Add-in loads in the task pane, displaying the available collaboration spaces at your home location.
Need to search across multiple buildings? Add locations to your search by clicking the plus icon near the top of the Quick Pick task pane.
The sum of the individuals you invite plus yourself = the number of invitees. This value will automatically be entered as the number attending.
Use filters to narrow your search.
Filters are automatically applied to the search.
"View details" opens the details window with the option to view that room's location on the floor plan.
Check off the room and select "Submit Reservation" to add it to your Outlook appointment.
You MUST Save/Send the appointment to complete the reservation. The Save option is displayed when there are no attendees/invitees. The Send option is displayed when the appointment has attendees/invitees.
"Advanced" opens the existing version of the Add-in with calendar view, floor plan view, and reservation summary.
You must allow the Advanced application to open in a new window. Be sure to add attendees before opening this window.
Go to the Exchange Add-in Guide for more information.
