Maintenance

The September Sprint has introduced several improvements and new features in the Maintenance application. This article will provide details on the various updates now available.

Tango Core/Mobile

For clients with General Users creating requests in Core/Mobile, the users will see some new options.

Photos and Documents

Requestors can now attach Photos and Documents to the Service Request before Submitting it.

Photos and Documents

Tango Workplace Mobile Application now also supports Photos and Documents attached to Services Requests before Submit.

Clicking on the Photos icon will bring the user a screen where they can either open the camera and take a new picture using their device’s camera or browse for an existing/saved image.

Clicking on the Documents icon will simply bring the user to a screen where they can browse for files on their device to attach.

Once the Mobile Service Request is submitted, it also generates a Core Service Request and the data will be sent to the Edge Service Request in the same way as mentioned above.

Usability Improvements

Various usability improvements were introduced for things like

  • Open/Closed Service Request list with search
  • Space Lookup default sorting with search

Tango Edge

Edge - Asset Lookups

Asset Dropdown/Lookup on the Service Request, Work Order, and Scheduled Maintenance have been enhanced to include Assets associated with the Floor and Space entities.

If the Edge Service Request/Work Order does not have a Floor or Space selected (Scheduled Maintenance doesn’t have a Floor/Space option so is always at the “Location” level), the Asset Lookup will return all Asset Details assigned to the Building, Floors, and Spaces.  This behavior also supports backward compatibility for customers who do not have Floor and Space data.

  • If there is a Floor assigned to the SR/WO then the Asset Lookup will return all Asset Details associated directly to the Floor as well as Spaces on that Floor.
  • If a Floor and Space are assigned to the SR/WO then the Asset Lookup will only return Asset Details associated with the selected Space.
