The SAML credential is stored in the user profile under USER CREDENTIALS
How do I add the SAML credential for a user?
- First, you'll need to have the rights to manage another user's profile, with the right to "MANAGE ANOTHER USER'S CREDENTIALS". Administrators generally have this right.
- From the Web Classic UI, go to Settings> Users > Search for the user and open their record
- Go to the USER CREDENTIALS, and enter the expected SAML credential in the SAML field.
- Save
OR
- Bulk upload the SAML credential using the Data Management Utility. This can be done by Administrators.
- Open the DMU
- Click on the Users button
- Select Modify Users
- Download the Modify Users template
- Open the File
- Go to the column called "SAML Credentials" and enter the user's SAML credential value.
- Save and close the file.
- Go back to the DMU and upload the file you modified.
- Check the Modify Asset Report to confirm success.
Important Note:
The SAML credential in Reserve is case-sensitive and must match what is expected in the SAML response.
