User Management Process - UMP Service Account User Rights

Part of the UMP implementation requirements is the creation of a Service Account User (client responsibility) - please see below for Reserve Service Account User requirements:

• The User should be created with a valid email address
  • This address can be used for UMP success and/or failure notifications if desired
• The User does not need to be a part of your IDP, if your organization will be utilizing the SAML integration
• The User is recommended to be an Administrator, but this role is not required. You can also create a custom role with the appropriate rights.
• The Service Account's User Profile should be marked as "private" under the User details page.
• The User must have the following rights:
  • Manage Other User's Profile & Reservations Rights:
    
  • We also recommend that the Override Password Expiration is also enabled for this user.
