Search for Person/Reservation/Asset does not filter by user permissions as it is not an availability search. This means that your users may find any Asset, User or Reservation regardless of their permissions.
Please note: Users without the Permission to reserve a particular Asset will not be able to do so by locating it through Search for Person/Reservation/Asset.
