It depends on the widget. Some widgets are "real time" while most refresh every hour. For example, the Reservation List is real time, but others like the Usage Overview are not. These widgets are updated hourly.
A way to tell is by is by clock icon next to the widget name. The widgets that run in real time are indicated by this icon as shown below.
