Android & iOS Mobile App MDM SAML Configuration

Modified on Tue, 3 Mar at 12:44 AM

As it relates to Android & iOS devices, changes may be needed in the administrative console. The issue is that the mobile application on Android & iOS devices may not work due to conditional access policies blocking the application.

The internal WebView uses Chrome within the App. In the event that this is the case, the clients SAML URL needs to be added to the "URLS.To.Open.Via.Browser" within the administrative console. This will allow the external browser (other than Chrome) to be selected and used when using the mobile app to pass SAML authentication.

The path in the console to change this is the following:

AQConsole => Public Account => Application Properties => Android

or

AQConsole => Public Account => Application Properties => iOS

The behavior the client should see is the following:

When clicking SAML in the mobile app, it would open an external browser to do the authentication, and once authentication is completed, it would go back the Reserve app
